I'm currently riding a Glen "Ed" Edwards Team shaped board. After 10 years of boogying I'm confident that he's designed the perfect template to funkshenly suit my style and for all bodyboarders to perform at their highest level. To ride waves that surfboards cannot conquer; paddling heavy, slabbing reefs and launching off wedges with epic air bowls. The straight rail curve, crescent tail, channels and perfect flex my board provides gives me confidence and allows me to do what I love. This year Ed's used a new system called the "Blind Pin" that's exclusive to his stock boards. It's just an aesthetic difference that's worth checking out. Basically the deck and rail roll over the pin, so you just see the pin on the bottom of the board.
My boards are designed to perform in waves suited to bodyboarding. It needs to hold a perfect rail on the most critical scoop; it has to allow you to adjust your line while screaming through a thick tube, a board that floats cleanly from the lip and slices sharply through the wave face, and available in multiple core choices. The shape covers all the above. It's proven itself around the world, from the freezing waters of Ireland and Tasmania, to the hot waters of Bali and Hawaii. The shape is scaled from 38' up to a 42', so everyone's happy.
My board works for me in the waves you need a bodyboard to ride. If you want to ride pussy shit go buy a surfboard. The more boards that get bought, the more trips I can do. Trips produce clips, and I just want to do my best to keep everyone amped!
