My template’s pretty straightforward. I use a really narrow-shaped board and my wide points reasonably low. This shape allows total control of your board, on all types of waves, making it really responsive. I’ve experimented with a few shapes, some wider, but this template takes the cake.
Considering this is my first Pro Model, it’s all-new to you!
I think the PE model’s suited for all water conditions. In saying that, the Kinetic PP is nice and stiff in your warmerwater locations, and as I like to think of my surfing as leaning towards the more technical side, if you want that style too, then this is the board for you.
I think you should get involved with this board as it’s a safe shape, and from my personal experience I know it performs in every situation. Also, as it’s Morey’s 40th anniversary, it’s the year to get on a Morey craft.
