I don't want to sound like a car salesman, but this template's worked for me since day one. It's a board that can assist a rider's development from your young go-getter, shore pounder to pushing over the ledge with a Dow core at Luna's. It's a narrow shape that holds a fine line, but with a subtle curve that pushes technicality in the pocket. I have two distinct models this year using the same template, the Plastic People designed graphic "Helta Skelta" model and a new blank, underground, less-is-more looking craft.
The new 2012 release is my new blank model that comes in a thinner, finished thickness of 50mm and a different tailpiece that I've been liking the feel of this past few months. The blank canvas is a bit of a throwback to the underground jillers getting around in inside-out wetsuits, circa 2004, for the less-expensive look.
The model comes in three cores; PE for cold waters, EFC for the brisk and PP for the northern hotheads. All geographic conditions are fully catered for and available to every rider. My board's a tidy investment as it's an all-round model, available in all the cores, with different graphic options, so whatever you desire, there's a model suited. Enjoy!
