In the past 12 months I’ve been finetuning my template. I’ve focused on riding stock boards and making subtle changes to them, so I can honestly say this is the best DK shape on the market.
This year’s model features an updated template that’s got a lot straighter shape, with a deeper tail with hooked pegs and sharper rails. The rails have been the biggest difference, making the board much more responsive. It’s something that I’m kicking myself for not doing earlier.
This is for those who want a good, fast board that’s built to throw tail with speed. If you live around a cold-water area then go with the PE core for a bit of flex, it’ll help you getting into the heavy ones. I’ve also found that the flex in PE boards are perfect for backside riding. For myself, living in the warmer waters, I ride the PP core that’s pure speed and the board holds its form in the warm water.
I think that you should buy my board because the last thing you want to be is “that” guy who’s always blaming his boards. All the bullshit aside, if you want a board that’ll help your performance, then this is it.
