RIDER COMMENTS WITH
PIERRE-LOUIS COSTES

I’ve been working closely with Pride shaper Dan Sivess to create a faster template. I also wanted to ensure that I could use my board in all kinds of conditions; fast on small days at my local beachie, yet easy to control in heavier surf.
This year I’ve been using the new contour designs a lot. They’re comfortable and make it easier to grip your board when landing big manoeuvres. You can also feel a subtle difference in the flex of the board. I love it. I’ve also been enjoying the PE boards with Pride’s new S3 stringer system in cooler waters as the setup makes a huge difference in terms of recoil and manoeuvrability.
My board’s great for someone who wants their gear to perform well in all surf conditions. That’s
why there’s a wide spectrum of material combos available in my Pride signature range. We cover most water temperatures and riders tastes in flex. If you don’t buy my board then you’re not cool and will never make any of your moves!
