*Update*

Riptide's just got word from 4Play's Reon Fisher that there are only 14 positions left for Thom and Dall's Grom Bash! So far they've received entries from QLD, NSW and VIC, so make you sure you're in for a chance to win a year's sponsorship from 4Play. New entry form is below.

Fresh from the 4Play shaping bay:

4Play are pleased to announce that they'll be running an U/20’s Grom Comp on Saturday 15th August at Kiama Wedge. The event will be run by 4Play Team Manager/Shaper Reon Fisher, in conjunction with team riders Thomas Robinson and Dallas Singer. “Dall came to me with the concept a while back and when we mentioned it to Thom he was all for it! The idea is to use the comp as a bit of a talent search, looking for some new grom team riders to add to the 4Play team, as well as raising money for a great charity” Reon said.

First place at the event will score you a year’s sponsorship on the exclusive 4Play team. Giving you the opportunity to be apart of the same team as Damian King, Dallas Singer and Thomas Robinson. There is also a bunch of other rad prizes donated by supporting sponsors SWS, I Am None, Zion, Boom Podcasts and Movement Magazine. On the day there will also be raffles and other prize draws with CD giveaways, and a chance at winning a tandem Sky dive from Sky Dive On The Beach.

All money raised from the event will be donated to JAAGO.
JAAGO Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to the betterment of underprivileged and poverty-stricken children of Bangladesh. Founded in April 2007 in Dhaka by a group of young students, it focuses mainly on battling malnutrition and illiteracy in children, and on rehabilitating them to better environments and social conditions. JAAGO is currently directed to conducting activities to provide more long-term and sustainable benefits to children who are under the poverty line.

The event will be run in the same format as a professional event with four man 20 minute heats with the top two progressing. There are only 32 positions available for the competition so make sure you get entries in early as it will be first in best dressed.
