This weekend will see the first event of the Dropknee Sessions go down at Tiona Park near Forster on the NSW mid north coast (check the map below).

The Riptide office was graced with the presence of an extremely excited Matt Lackey earlier in the week. The man was really amped at heading down the coast for the event and battling Roach in a fiery expression session. That's right, Paul Roach is in the country for the event and by all accounts he's throwing the tail as hard and as fast as he was when he first revolutionised the stance. Exciting stuff indeed!

Riptide feels that every bodyboarder should take it upon themselves to see the best dropknee'ers in the world destroy some beach break peaks this weekend and the next in the Dropknee Sessions at Tiona Park 1st & 2nd of August and Port Macquarie on the 8th & 9th of August.
