nice vid adam but seriously tighten that gopro down somehow, you dont want to take the biggest air drop and make an insanely deep barrel only to find you just filmed the words GATH for the past 10 seconds

Yea that was the major bummer for the whole thing. I couldn't find a screwdriver when we were leaving to go down, so I had to use my hand to tighten it up. Problem is solved now but.

That seems to be a big thing with the GoPro. It's a learning experience. No one gets it perfect on the first crack.

Looks like a fun crowded session :)

I was just watching that on the SMH website Meaksy - pretty crazy. The POV makes you realise how quick those rotations are, and how difficult they must make picking the landing

It just looks like he just flips as fast as possible and hopes he ends up the right way!He nails it though - lands so smooth. Crazy skills

hey guys whats the go with uploading vids to vimeo that youve made but you have used a song in it ?

When i have made videos in the past of gopro or others and put music to it and then try and upload to youtube it says it cant upload because i have used a song and dont have copyright.. but then all these videos on youtube and vimeo have music to them ???

how do i go about it without it getting cancelled ?

Cheers

Ive had some on youtube which allows the song and some which cancels the song but but allows the video. So ive just started using vimeo, The one vid i put on vimeo the song was allowed, vimeo is way better quality too but takes a lot longer to upload than youtube

Hi fellas,

some sick clips on here, nice work!

Could you all tell me what programs you used to edit your vids? I've got some cool footage from my first session with the GoPro but can find a program that handles the HD of the gopro.. I've already converted them to avi and I tried to use Windows Movie Maker Live but the videos won't play smooth(the sound does though) so pretty much can't use that.. I've searched online and everyone seems to be using programs that coast an arm and a leg to buy!

I don't wanna do anything too fancy, just whack all the clips together, maybe slow mo a couple of them and that'd be it.

Oh and how the hell did you all manage to keep the water drops off the lens?? I got so many clips that are wrecked cause a droplet is covering half the lens!

thanks guys
