Geelong vs Freo was an awesome game.
Granted Fremantle played great, but jesus f@king christ, what was with those umpires? So many ridiculous free kicks payed to Freo whereas the cats got so ripped off. Saw so many knees in the back/high's that Geelong didn't get compensated for. Also Ballantyne needs a harder smack in the head.
Didn't see it but Essendon vs North Melbourne looked like an awesome game too.

Scarlett should have got man of the match for putting one on Ballantyne. He's a grub.
From the bits I watched over the weekend the games already seem to have opened up a bit with more goals being kicked and less of the defence focus of the last few years. That can only be a good thing.
Hopefully the Swans can smack Freo this weekend
