that fella above...that was a 6m+ swell in a portugese surf comp...

PLC nearly died when he got caught on the inside of a set....

but yeh anyone ever copped a heavy lip on the back? when leaving a closeout

Yer - too many - but teh one a few months ago - a thick roof came down on me real heavy and i stayed on the board so it wouldnt bend my back like a banana, instead all the force compressed my ribs has really stuffed my ribs on one side - sometimes (like today) padding out still feels like there is a knife in my lungs - man i hate rib injuries.... grrrrr

yeh bloody ribs...i heavily injured mine in a footy game a few years back...in the first 10 minutes of a grand final and i was just so happening playing flanker....i kept playing done more damage and they have been stuffed ever since...

Had my head rammed into the bottom at dy point as i kookishly pussied out from a big closeout and the lip landed on my shoulders / head and destroyed me.
