have you ever surfed a reef break before? They are at least 1000x more fun than beachies.

nah man closest iv surfed is rock shelf. doubt reef would be that much better, i always have a mad time out at my local. but then again they do look more consitent barrel/shape wise

Rock shelf is pretty similar, just really steep barrels you can actually make it out the other end are better than duck your head under the lip and get ready to paddle back into the line up.

Massive today. Did anyone see forresters or indies? I'm intrested to know how they handles the swell.
Also saw some kooks on sticks trying to paddle out in washout spoon bay. They ended up surfing whitewash for about 5 minutes

Been hitting up the central coast a fair bit these past few weeks. Had some breaks recemended to me and it's always great to get out of the Sydney crowds.

Sticks up there seem to be alot nicer. Always get these old fella's calling me into waves and hooting.

Mainly been hanging around the Killcare beachies. If you've got any recemendations or wanna have a paddle some time drop us a PM. I'm probably gonna head up tomorrow morning with my house mate if the swell is any decent.

Hubbynz wrote:Hi guys

I'm posting on here as I am trying to locate a photographer who was shooting water footage at Wamberal beach on NSW Central coast the past Sunday (17/10/10). I have been told he shoots regularly around the area and out at Indies.....the only clue I have is his name might be "Chris James (not the pro bodyboarder)" although I have had no luck googling the name on the net etc???

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated on how to get hold of him or any photographers who may be him incase I have the wrong name.

Cheers in advance gangsters

I've quoted this down from another thread,
If someone could give Hubby a hand it would be way appreciated. The man is much respected in his neck of the woods (and elsewhere).
Cheers

I'm pretty new to the coast, and have no idea where any spots are, but plan is to do a fair bit of looking around this summer, but will stick to alot of beachies so the kiddies can have a play around, will be spending a far bit of time over Wambi, as my little one is doing nippers this year there. Heading over there tomorrow, so i might take the camera, and get some pics, if there is any decent surf about.
I'm worried about getting into the sea, a japanese whaling ship might have a go at me!
