I'm tossing up between WA and SA - SA has such a huge range and variety of waves! crowds are rarely a problem! even close to home. Literally always a wave somewhere to be found! always somewhere sheltered from the wind!

WA has all this too - and the crowds thin out as soon as you head past Gero - with some top class waves up there. I cruised the ningaloo last year on a dive tour and there was some sweet as waves, empty barrel after empty barrel and the 28C water temp is pretty easy to slide into! haha.

are you joking? I could easily name 100 world class body boarding waves in NSW.

As if. Those three waves are the only ones worth visiting.

Me and a mate are planning to hit a new slab soon...
He says it hits the reef 3 ft and doubles up and gets crazily big to about 8 foot. Havent yet seen it, but I keen to grow a pair.

Mousetraps.

Honestly though if there's photographic evidence of it I'd be keen on a dig :D The amount of great slabs around WA is truly ridiculous. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dude you even quoted me so you would have seen the link...

Either you didnt or you really need to study up on your simpsons knowledge. As for why .. id rather not advertise the breaks in my own backyard. No one likes crowds.

Honestly, is revealing a spot on a forum really going to increase crowds that much (or at all)? Maybe one or two curious riptide forum-ites checking them out. Sure it could balloon out, but that's highly unlikely, unless if you've got a hidden shark island or something.

NSW is the best, particularly North Sydney.
Any tourists or ring ins feel free to PM me for maps to all the best breaks in the area.
