hope you all got out - got some decent rights on sparrows today - bird rock looked ok too. Are you dk howie? Or were u on birdrock first thing? I saw a liddie dropknee on sparrows this am - paddled over to say hello but a set came through & mystery dk took off on what looked like quite a decent wave . I didn't stay out long after that - first session back from shoulder injury so didn't want to overdo it - anyway - no doubt i'll catch u guys out sometime. See pic of sparrows today -earlier on got one surprisingly intense right - love that break.

Haha - the lure of the bright lights aye savage?? I was there early sat - so there was a crew of about 5 or 6 on bird rock and one stand up on sparrows first thing. So I opted for sparrows and for awhile had it completely to myself. Looks cleaner today but smaller based on surf cams - was a bit wonky yesterday with some waiting for sets but on the upside every now and then a more sizey set would come through. I got one wave which really surprised me - intense long walling fast right - I can see why people like bird rock more but i am a big fan of sparrows - it throws up the odd gem now & then.

This friday - Day off, sunny and 27 degrees with NNW winds and 3ft of swell.
Definitely getting wet!
Have had one surf in the last 2 months and it was 1ft and onshore.
