I have a week off starting tomorrow. There better be some waves or I'm going to go insane.
The last 5 weeks have been absolutely horrendous!

I'd pack a straight jacket savage - just in case summer does its thing. One more day of work tomorrow than 2 weeks off - maybe the early this sat might go get me a grovel.

Swoods are you going to be surfing down your way Saturday morning?
Small EP could be fun (just an idea, not sure what my plans are yet)

Don't think so. Winds don't look that promising. Let me know if your coming down though. Should find a wave somewhere.

True that. I think my eyes may have been deceiving me. It's the 'no-surf' goggles that have me over-frothing, haha.

Saturday 24th December
Inconsistent 1-2ft waves with light NE winds, tending SE during the day. Expect long waits between sets.

Damn.

If the High Tide was in the morning and not the Low, then I'd say EP would have something but it's not, so no real point.

Thinking I'll be taking the boat out for a fish.

The long range reports show next weekend as a strong posibility.

I'm almost tempted to skip my mates housewarming tonight, and drive down the East Coast for an early.
Winds look dicey, I don't want to take the risk. Looking liked mixed reports.
Decisions, decisions. Is anyone definitely surfing in the morning and would want to meet up?

PS - The tides tomorrow wouldn't be too bad.

Low tide is at 4:20am in the morning, but it's a really high low (0.77m), so by about 6/7isham it will pretty much be mid-high tide.
Swoodle?
Haha, man I'm desperate for a wave

I'm bailing after willyweather said st. andrews and gunnamatta are only getting 0.7m of wsw swell.
i'm going out for breakfast with the lady and grommets and waiting for this long range forecast looking into next week.
i effing hate grovels anyway. gimme some 4-6 foot beachies, good banks and warm weather as i only have a springy and i'll be a happy camper.
also give it to me 3 - 4 times over the next 3 weeks while i'm not working.

Took the punt on the early at gunnamatta today - wasn't bad - but not great either. Got some lefts and one decent enough right. Tried out the new vid from the beach - if it looks worth posting up will put up for interest re this mornings conditions. Hope you guys score some waves over hols - got 2 weeks off so hoping there will be some decent conditions somewhere in there - although I assume everyone will be trying out there chrissy presents so crowds could get interesting.
