Anyone had confirmation of the competitors?

Facebook says the names were to be released on the Monday just gone...

Taken from winny's site.

June 14th to July 14th is the waiting period for the 2010 Shark Island contest. Lucky for me, Grand Flavour Clothing and Sun Zapper are coughing up the $2k entry fee. It’s looking like a pretty solid field with Ben Player, Michael Novy, Damien King and Jarrod Houston just to name a few. The real threats of the contest are the locals, Adam “Wingnut” Smith, Christian “Rissole” Riguccini , John Showell and Dave Ballard who are coming out of retirement to try and snatch the 10k grand prize.

Even with just those it's sounding good. Hope one of the locals get up.

Haven't heard much about John Showell for a while. Looked like he was going to be the next big thing competitively for a while there

So amped for this. Any Victorian's keen to come up let me know, I'll be roadtripping.
1 month waiting period, so sick. Should be a pumping swell and with 4 weeks to choose a day the conditions should be epic.

sweet sounds like it will go off especially with a 1month waiting period. This will be my first time seeing the SIC so can't wait to check out the action in person!

Probably not mate, just for a week in new south wales whenever the comp is, and then a week up in queensland to see some mates and stuff.
Hopefully my time off work dates correspond with the comp, but I'm pretty sure I should be right.
