Haha yea, that was so funny.

Shaggy: "So what do you think of Reunion Island?"
Sam Bennett: "Yea. It's okay."
Shaggy: 'Tell us about your flip then, to win the heat?"
Sam Bennett: "It just sorta bowled and I did a flip. Pretty rank."
Shaggy: "..."

Hahahaha

Not sure what Rawlins is up to.
There's a fair few guys that didn't bother with Reunion this year at all which is a bit weird. That's why there are so many Reunion rider wildcards.

Money became an issue for a couple of guys. A couple of the Brazilian riders are not getting the support they'd hope for, hence couldn't fly over to Reunion. Guessing/hoping you'll be seeing them in Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks time. The local riders have taken a wrecking ball to the contest today - shattering a lot of pros dreams!

Mitch was busy setting up his factory so that he could start creating Found custom boards. Last we heard, he's looking set to be in PR too. As all the riders drop a couple of their worst results, he can still be sitting pretty at the end of the year if he goes well in PR and the Canaries.

Magno Oliveira's ARS which got him an 8.05 and put himself into the prime position to make the cut off.

Image
Pierre's reverse off the top, which was missed in live action but was shown in the replay, IMO is the most stylish move I've seen all comp!

What is Hubb and claiming waves?
He has claimed every wave of the heat, including his wave just then which was just a roll.
Even Ben just claimed his air revo.

Jeff Hubbard doing another ARS, his 9018759126582 for the year.

Ben Player's winning backflip in the last 30 seconds to get a 9.1. The framie doesn't show how big it was.

Can't believe Benny took the win right on the buzzer. That was an insane heat! Was a nice flip, granted.

Not really.
Don't get me wrong, he boosts to the stars but he just does ARS after ARS. And claims them.
Like I loved watching him at the Zicatela, but here it just isn't good to watch.

Haha fair call. I'm stoked Player won, but a little shattered Hubb got knocked. I put money on Jeff since the Box comp to win the whole World Tour. At this stage he's leading the tour by heaps, chances are looking pretty good at this stage.
