Stoked for thisss. Been watching the Telstra Drug Aware Pro this week and the box has looked insane. Box pro actually got a mention from the ASP commentary team as well which was cool.

Is it even starting tomorrow? IBA website doesn't really give any info. Frustrating. They could at least write a paragraph stating expected start times etc.

Iba says

Trials (Gas Bay) March 26th & 27th
Main Event March 28th - April 4th

conditions look to be 2-3 ft and offshore from what i can tell so trials should definately be going ahead as planned

Appreciated Meaksy. Thanks for that. Ok, well I guess Gas bay won't be streamed online.

Anyone know who's broadcasting the actual Box Pro this year? (I finally get foxtel this year and I bet it won't be on Fuel or any other cable channels :( )

Apparently not. I think they are going to be putting together daily highlights though (although I may be wrong)

was reading it off the fluidzone facebook i think savage, cant find it now.

basically slater said on twitter that the bodyboard comp will be getting the swell that the sticks were after for their comp and that he wanted to compete in the boog comp. To which the iba replied that there was a wildcard spot if he wanted it.

Comp is live now

Selling out or no, you can't deny it would be hugely entertaining to see Slater competing at the Box! Wish it happened. Great to see Mike killin it.
