New Lackey Vid Teaser

Mine arrived today, l'm gobsmaked! So good, really really well filmed, love the soundtrack great to hear some classic danzig & anthrax in the soundtrack. The interviews with roach and aka were really interesting and a great insight into those guys. Well done lackey and riptide. No idea on how anybodys gonna top this film.

Awesome stuff. Was really surprised how good it was.
Sick soundtrack, was so stoked to hear first part was "Long way back from hell" by Danzig! That song is off one of my all time favourite albums.
Surfing was next level DK, even though I'm not the biggest fan of it, I could still appreciate it.
And to anyone who still bags Lackey, watch this vid. He's killing it.

Was left thinking "how cool is Aka Lyman!" the dude is a legend, just wish there had been some footage of him in the movie.

Same dude... Wish there was an Aka section, but really can't complain. The vid is so well put together, just section after section, tail throw after tail throw... Vid has got me so amped on DK.

an Aka section was the only thing missing for sure but I didn't mean that to put the film down at all, I just love watching him surf so much and the interview was so cool that it made me think of it. It is such a sick movie and in all honesty my pride and joy of my collection of vids now. It's so sick to have a 100%dk movie, especially as you say boogs considering how well it is put together.

Hopefully Lackey makes a 2nd movie with more awesome footage....and maybe some Aka in it too lol.

BTW - How good was the super slow motion footage!!! So cool, freaks out my brain how lackey stays on his board during some of those turns...

Yeah mate that slow mo footage was insanse! And just seeing how much water gets displaced in some of those turns is cool too.

One wave that caught my attention and meant to comment on it is a wave of Dylan's. He does this late forward spin off the lip (he does this on two waves but the first one in his clip is the one I am talking about) first time I saw it I was seriously like "no way".

Yeah i reckon too, it was really well used, not overdone at all, just used on a few great moments.

I would have liked to see more takeoffs rather than cutting in when they were already riding. Any one agree or is that just me cause im a kook and find watching them get up on the kneee on a steep takeoff just as entertaining as any move that they pull?

yeah same here too... i actually like watching the whole wave, from get up to end...even if they fall of on a move instead of splicing clips of big bashes together but that is just because I like to watch that and use it to see how ppl do stuff as tip or pointer for myself... still can't take anything away from the movie though lol.

Im so amped on this vid! Everything about it is just that good, the slow-mo effects, camera work, and the soundtrack is that epic! The Dan Bennington section and the home section, that just amped me up way too much! All this talk about Lackey falling off too much well, this has just put that claim to rest, the man is a machine on getting the tail out , he seems to be landing most of his floaters, and his backhand riding at that desert left is flawless!, im gobsmacked on how much he has improved! If i could fault anything it would be the fact that there is no Aka footage except for some old clips in his interview, and the lack of Feasty footage aswell with only 3 waves when we know that he has some pretty sick footage out there..all in all tho this is gonna be pretty hard to top. Im gonna go watch it again i think!
