Agreeing with this man. Parkway was hands down the best concert/event I've ever been too. Such a wicked vibe and such a demon sound. Stoked to 'em again this year at No Sleep Till.

Geez people are so quick to judge on here. If he says the concert was sick what's wrong with that ?
The concert was epic especially when the set was big pictures of crystal clear barrels :D

too many to keep track of.

honestly i'm not really sure if i want to come out and say this but your constant hate on metalcore/hardcore is really starting to grate on my nerves hey - there's obviously some pretty young kids on this forum and you sit here and try to dictact what they should be listening to. every other thread you post in you come off as a pretty decent dude. just another lad who lives the lid and has a fine appreciation of what he enjoys in life... but as soon as someone states something that you disagree with you turn into a childish elitest jerk.

if you think that your tastes in life are the best and anyone who disagrees is a plebe, keep it to yourself - because i could not give less of a toss about your close minded opinion. or feel free to keep up the appearance of a 13 year old and ruining the vibe of a really friendly and easy going forum. up to you dude.

tl;dr - grow up.

(if any mods want me to take this down just holla - i'm not one to start shit usually but there's a line that has to be drawn)

I cannot wait to No Sleep Til, im getting my overly-excited froth on and it's still 2 months away.
Been cranking "Rust In Peace" constantly in preparation for Megadeth. They were so good when I saw them in 2007.
Along with NOFX, Dropkick Murphy's (saw them last year, awesome), Descendants, Frenzal Rhomb and Antagonist A.D
= a seriously good day.
I think I'm going to be the only person who won't be seeing Parkway, haha.
Will probably get roasted for saying this but oh well. As good as musicians they are, and their effort and passion I truly respect, I have never liked them, and doubt I ever will.
Just my personal opinion. I would also consider them metal-core, rather than hardcore. Not that it's a big deal, but just kind of annoys me how every scene kid is ignorant to the influential bands that shaped that sort of music.
Once again, opinion. No hate, peace and love.

A lot of parkway stuff to me sounds way more metal then hardcore. They are pretty dam heavy especially KWAS that was was full of blast beats and shredding.

Really? strange as you were perfectly willing to rant about it. I'm not close minded just because I hate a really shitty band. That's called "discerning" which may sound crazy, I know.

"Too many to keep track of"... yeah, sure bro. :|

casp - calling a band shitty simply because you don't like them is not discerning. it's simply close minded. please don't try into a holier-than-thou arguement with me. it does nothing but further reinforce what i've already said.

i definitely agree that parkway isn't a hardcore band. they play metal.. and good metal at that :D

C'mon now. Ripping on each others bands is half the fun of posting what your listening to. From the guilty pleasures to music you dig. Its interesting hearing other peoples opinions.

I think ive ripped on every person who is into that Aus hardcore scene on here (which happens to be 95% of people on here..) and i expect the same back when i chuck up a hip hop album or some 60's -70's shit.

Any who some classic pop today. Feel free to rip away.

See how bad your logic is, sunday? Keep on failing though as it seems to be what you're best at. Metal, hardcore.. PWD are somewhere in the middle, and a serious embarrasment to both genres.
