cheers meaksy - interesting thread. I had a mate in Canberra (has moved to WA) who was our crews resident forecasting guru but here in vic have to do my own "forecasting" - which really means checking surf cams & swellnet & coastalwatch - but would be better to do more than this sometimes

I think my parents gave me the first bit of foam when i was about 6 or so just to give me something to do, and i've never got off since.

I'm not sure if its an individual country, but Dominica. Seems like a sick little island between Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago. Even if I didn't find anything, that adventure would defo be worth it!

Had a beach trip with some mates to Kioloa, one of my mates has a caravan there and let me take out one of his half decent boards and had a blast. Decided to pick it up when the 'rents said we might be getting a Caravan there so we can go down heaps.

I recently went to Hawaii and the North Shore was huge when we went, would definitely go there.

Cheers Deathsanchez - lived in the can for 9 years - just moved to vic last year. Must be pretty keen to keep it all going driving 2 hours 30 minutes plus to sth coast breaks. Whern I lived in canberra mostly surfed around bawley pt, Ulladula (Golf course reef), with occasional detour to broulee. Still hate that drive over the mountains but sth coast make it worth it I spose. Probably favourite sth coast break is ''the farm' - and werri beach and pt break there - though rare to make ti from canberra from there - mostly bawley & surrounds...

I like water. My friend rang me up one day and there was a building swell. I could barely bodyboard at this time. He lent me an old board and it was like 4 - 5 foot. Got some fun little waves that day in between the big ones.

I'd dedicated 2 pages to unkown riders. So divide the two pages into 4 mini profiles of unknown guys. Just a cool little pic. Face shot so you know they actually look like and a little info. Age/Location/Fav wave etc.

I'd go to Flinders Island because i've never heard of surfing there and it comes across as uncharted. I know its not famous but its not the point. Then when it gets published in the magazine i'd keep the place a secret and never tell. 4 riders would be Stewart, Kaineoa, Aka Lyman, Eppo

In the last year i've really come to love bodyboarding. Used to skate heaps but thats kind of been pushed to the side.
