Couple of mates and I are thinking of going down to Northern NSW and hit up Iluka. Ive seen a couple of photos and it looks like a nice wedge. Could anyone whos an Iluka local or has surfed there before just gimme a heads up of what its like in regards to crowds and the wave itself? It seems stupid of myself to post this up, i just dont wanna go there and be devoed.
We're planning to go down before we go back to school...

surfed there on the june long weekend. good wedge, good banks, got a little crowded.
i'd heard about the f@k wit locals but they were alright. for the most part they'd take the waves they wanted, call others into whatever they didn't want, good for a chat etc they just didn't have many f@ckin teeth.
