I'll have to check out Nexgen as it looks like pretty much exactly what I was imagining for Galleries. Thanks heaps for that Trev!

edit: I'll have to upgrade to Wordpress Pro or whatever it's called so I can access all the plugins freely as at the moment it won't let me install them like I used to on the old site. For now I've just done up a pretty budget Galleries section. You can check it out here - http://cammobreed.wordpress.com/galleries/

I am stoked. I thought I had lost a whole bunch of photos when the old site got axed from the swirlmedia server. Thankfully the webmaster isn't a douche and gave me FTP access to go in and grab all my photos before he has to remove the site completely. Now everything has been restored to it's former glory, here's a few shots.

cheers man! i have been thinking about saving up some cash/getting a small loan to get a whole new setup, possibly even a waterhousing if I can afford it. it's crazy how taking photos just started as a hobby - borrowing my mates DSLR to play around with and then eventually buying his old camera off him once he upgraded and now I'm giving serious thought to pursuing it a little more and dropping a decent amount of coin to get the gear to do so. I have lived outta home since I was 17 and don't have a whole lot to show for it so now that I'm back in with the 'rents for awhile and have the chance to save a bit of cash where I wouldn't normally be able to, a new camera could be just what the doctor ordered!

thanks again for the kind words dude

no worries 8)
its weird how things start out as a small hobby and turn into something really important to you.

I bought a waterhousing earlier this week and finally got a chance to take it out with a mate this morning. Nothing amazing but I am so excited to use this thing more and get better shooting in the water!

an Aquatech D-35, absolutely love it. also bought a 30D & a 10-22mm wide angle lens to run in it as opposed to using the 450d I usually shoot with. didn't want to splash out on anything too insane in the camera hardware department as I've never shot in the water before and still have alot of learning to do.

hoping the weather is alright tomorrow morning even just for a bit so i can take it out again haha

Took the housing out again yesterday for 4-5 hours. Here's a few shots I got from throughout the day.
