Riptide #182 will be arriving in your local newsagency on Wednesday June 8.

The cover features Jase Finlay launching large (and sharp) in South Oz.

#182 contains:
- The second part of the wild Caribbean adventure.
- Action from a pumping Australian autumn.
- Brad Hughes & Mitch Rawlins take on a chopper at pumping Straddie.
- Head to South Oz with Cade Sharp, Jase Finlay & Michael Novy. See the invert that snapped Novy & the wave that made the cover.
Plus a whole lot more...

And
HIDING FROM COMFORT!

my copy was sitting nicely on my bed when I got home. It's a real change of pace rom the viking, and a lot shorter than I thought it would be, but still awesome

EDIT: Just read through it then and it has some amazing photos

got my copy yesterday and watched HFC last night, yeah did seem very short but I think that was only Part 1.. maybe the other part coming out next issue?

Also was a little stunned at what Mitch said about Mike and his mentoring him.. threw me a bit.. anyone else?

It is a bit short, But is so tight and well edited it can afford to be. Its awesome to chuck it on just before a session like I did this morning. The soundtrack is killer too. The last section is one of my all time favourites..

I think the thing about mike was more aimed at the fact that what works for one person, doesn't necessarily work for another. If you listen to the whole thing, its not that he is writing off mike as a mentor, just that he knew that for the way he wanted to ride, the advice might not have been warranted. The more I listen to it the more i get it, but I do admit I was a bit shocked too at first. :)

Overall I reckon its a sick film, and cant wait for his next project. That kid is super ambitious..

Got it yesterday, havent been through all of it yet but looks like another high quality mag. Really like the design and layout of the last few mags, nice and clean. Again lots of rider and photog contributers which gives more life and interest to the shots. Amazing images as ususal. Not super keen on the heli shots only becasue they make the waves look smaller, but the angles are new and interesting and conditions looked crisp,

HFC was a bit short and a bit too much tow out for me, but i still loved it overall, the interview parts seemed a lilttle without direction but that kinda didnt matter too much. The camera angles in that film were so good, and picture quality was rad, Riding was amazing. Pretty stoked with #182
