Tom, you will be fine with a 3mm sealed wetty in August in the UK and Ireland, France and Portugal you will get away with boardies. Good luck mate, hope you score.

Myself, i dont think i will be going anywhere for the first time in a while. Heading back to uni, so its going to be money struggles this year, thats for sure. Hopefully ill be able to just get in the water a bit more often this year :D

electrical instrument/ electrical fitting at the end of the 4 years i come out with 2 trade certificates as an electrician and i have the instrument certificate.
it would be sick if where i worked was close to the cost but its an hour in land, which means by the time i get home its blowing on shore which means no after work surfs, and seeing im up at 5 every morning to drive an hour to work theres no eaarly morning surfs either.
its not bad but, good hours, good pay and work bought me all my clothes, tools, boots etc.

do you have an apprenticeship?

yeh i dunno if they are called different certificates/courses or wateva in different states.

the apprenticeship im doing is called "Certificate III in electrotechnology systems electrician"

yeh same deal, pretty good hours, good pay, and yeh they supply all cloths/boots/PPE, and get $800 towards tools and shit, so have to pay f@k all out of my own pocket. where i work is about half hour from home so get home at 3:30, plenty of time for surfing if the wind isnt already howling onshore.

p.s. how much are you gettin a week roughly? pm me if ya want
