haha i could imagine someone going up to a 10ft bowl attempting a reverse and failing and someone's going its ok he had crossed legs!
Crossed legs wont mean much if you don't do the actual move correctly.
I think if crossing your legs takes away from your riding and results in a sloppy move because your to focussed on crossing your legs then don't bother.

try telling the mystics locals that! haha

every time ive been there, i see guys crossing there legs so tight and picturesque, but can hardly do a full rotation of powerful spin.
im sure they have "if my legs are perfect, nothing else matters" dialled into there heads.

Yer , i cant rip on any of them tho because most of the locals are alot better then me. When im learning a move first ill get the fundamentals down then tweak it later. Crossed legs can look sweet but then again so can legs 11 like a photo jason put up of himself doing a reverse with his legs just straight up. all in all im not fussed :)

I can't believe people are riding of Rawlins in that podcast. His inverts are the best in the business. him and Hardy are the best guys to watch I reckon.

I reckon Joe Clarkes and Ben Players podcasts were the best, they had the best style tricks wise.
however I think hardy has a really good overall riding style, but I dont like his european ARSs (full rotation, not much cregs)

ryan hardy is the best all round rider, and then there are a bunch of guys that are better at one move here and there.

But ive said it before and ill say it again, style dont count for shit all, its about power, consistency and standing out from the rest.

Style is the last thing that makes you a world champ...

So some one want to tell me why its so important to aussie groms?

As far as i can see, it all started with a coment from steve bullet mckenzie about how style lost its place in the judging tent, and how its become about completing a move in a crutial section of a wave, rather than completing it with style, somewhere in the late 90's ABB or rippies.

You dont like how hardy actually does proper ARS's as opposed to people landing backwards (with cregs) and flail around until they finish the rotation :?
My name is conjob, I am just straight out a f#^khead who thinks he is top shit, but really isn't

style may not matter to judges in the tent...
but it matters to every1 else

perhaps the reason style isnt judged is because its unfair to a certain degree

what if judge a thinks ryan has awesome style but hubbs is $hit..
then judge b thinks beeny p is to over the top and tamega is more natural....
etc etc

it becomes a popularity contest
