i saw a video on youtube of pierre doing this funky thing, kinda like a kickflip on a skateboard but with his hands, it looked so good haha
i guess you could call it a handflip. it might not be new but i had never seen it done before i watched the video. i just found the link, here it is:

interesting move, a kick flip with your feet is tricky, but using your hands kind of dumbs it down a bit cause anyone can throw and catch with their hands. Cant see it going anywhere in comps except for getting a few laughs.

I've always thought a double barrel roll would be simple and fun, but I've never seen anyone do it. It's hardly a new move, though.

yeah revers rolls are sick ive seen winchester do one in a vid. the flip trick is funny but i cant see it becoming a solid trick that all the pros throwdown in comps etc. imo

I reckon guys should start doing "Christ-airs", either do a roll or invert with only one hand on the board. I've landed (not on purpose) rolls were one of my hands has been ripped off, but if someone started doing them on purpose and making them look styley 8) could pretty cool i reckon'!

3 axis's. /thread

Screw new tricks, bring out rad tricks in more critical situations. Linking moves instead of just an invert off an end bowl.

im under the opinoin that with the 3 axis thing in mind the only new tricks to be invented are trivial un functional in heavy wave kind of moves. like hand shovetts and sack taps, silly stuff like that

Eppo came up with them about the same time as the ARS and Backflip. There's plenty of footage from the early 90's of him pulling em.

I can remember Kyle Maligro making reverse rolls look good. Hubs too - spin to floppo combo on the face.

I've seen footage of Ross McBride and Skippy doing prone board shovits. Looked pretty cool.

Yeah, they're called gyrolls. Like a roll to front flip combo. They look pretty cool and used to be more common before everyone started going the invert or air reverse only option.
