Shoul be an interesting trip Mez,

Heard mixed reviews, with a few people from various surfing websites saying it was average (apparently alot of rivalry between surf camps up there) yet ex Funkshen head honcho Tully saying it was top draw (I'm more inclined to listen to his point of view) Where are you staying mate? - Be sure to take a s.hitload of photos and post em on here coz I'm definately thinking of heading there next year. 4 weeks till I hit the Mentawais meself

Hey mate i just got back from there. we stayed in krui, are you doing the secret sumatra camp?. I stayed there last year and it was awesome. the wave out front is surfable just about every day. and it's fun. when it gets big there is tonnes of places to go,it seems like your going to be getting some decent swell to.
if your staying at that camp ask them about the left in the town. that was my favourite wave of the trip it's so much fun.
there is so much i could tell you bout the place because i stayed in Krui for a month and have been just about every where in that area. but it's best you find out for yourself. it's easy the locals are insanely nice. and you will have a ball haha. if you want to know more message me i can tell you more. yew
if not have a sick time mate yeww
