DK photos - bang 'em here

Postby doclach » Sat Jan 17, 2009 1:09 pm

With creating a dedicated section for DK we’re getting to see how much interest and participation there is in this fine art. Also a lot of crews are coming on board who we don’t know – and who don't know you. The old saying is that a picture says a thousand words, so until riders get to compete in events together or get to visit each others breaks and get on the froth together, here is a place to bang up DK photos for us all to feast on and get to know each other better.

Note how they’re labelled – photog credits!
These men behind the lens provide us with treats galore and the least we can do is honour their intellectual property by attributing shots to their creative source.

Cos there will be riders from all over Oz and around the world whose names will be unfamiliar, a note on where they are from can be handy.

First cab off the rank has shots hot in my inbox from vicco photog Mitch Nibbs. Mitch loves framing the lads on the knee – you will be seeing some more frames from him soon when interviews with Gumby and Nath are done, (along with a few others in the tube)… and Mitch is going to send us some fresh when he gets them (and I’ve asked for some archive ones as well - love a few frames from the past).

As Mitch said to me privately:
“this is a super idea and hopefully everyone gets behind it”

haha, I reckon the crew are going to be frothing with pics here. This is just a start – add whatever pics you can here and let other DK crew share in getting to see your style and that of your mates.

Damon Crawford from SA had these pics in with his interview, so thought I'd throw a couple in here in case they get missed by the Dk crew: (Damo's interview is at: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3109 )

Yeah they're filtering out Chad. Spoke to John the other day and when I get moment he's going to do an interview on for the forum on them.

Been sporting one for a while myself now and super-stoked with it.

Great to see Reeflex getting behind a DK'er... happy man Popey?

Fellas,

To clarify a few things. I am not officially on the Reeflex Team, it is more of a trial run and me trying to promote John's kisk ass wetties on the qld coast. Without a conflict of interest, the wetties are excellent, very warm...have tried it deep down in the bloody cold surf coast in vic. Perfect warmth for mid-north coast waters, can sit out there for hours and never get cold. Very flexible and comfortable...and quality.
