Where is everyone's money going?

Ive got quite a few horses going. Spent about $30 this year.

Cant even remember half the bets i made (biggest i think was $5) and a fair few trifectors going aswell.

I guess if i make my money back i can claim to be a racing expert like everyone else seems to be.

Lost on the nags but came second in the Mudcrab races at the CBH (Coogee Bay Hotel). Cracker arvo in the beergarden at 38 degrees. Get a crab every year and name it something to do with booger, this year it was 'Riptide' haha. Anyways the woman doing the spruiking was crap at winding up the crowd so it was a smaller cash pool then usual, but scored some extra, plus they cooked the crabbie up for me. Some pics form the day:

1. Mudcrab #1 was a big sucker so went for him (cos is a good feed even if he loses)

2. Bidding board

3. Looks alone aren't enough to get the punters laying out the cash for Muddies

4. ....and they're off and racing...... ('Riptide' came from the inside - first one to the fence wins)

5. Packed beergarden

My mate bought horse steaks from the supermarket in Norway. Similar to roo except a bit more rich apparently.

I don't even remember Cup Day. The photographic evidence that rose the day after how ever painted a different picture from what I remembered.
