can someone please tell me how they judge the peer poll? just dont understand the results thats all? But good on Sharp, Pope and Feast

Yeah good on you Dane. You were certainly ripping at the nationals mate, so were you Stevie. Good to see Roach back on top again. Its amazing what a few trips and recent exposure can do for you. Roach has always been top in my book but just wasn't pushing it exposure wise they past 5 or so years. Thats where Lackey has always excelled. Pretty solid top 5 there. Btw, its Bayden here from NZ.

Yo wats up Stevie and Dane. Nah man, I kid you not.....I havent surfed since Ive been home from Ozzy....and that was back on the 18th November (haha). Nearly a month! Its been flat as on the east coast, lots of offshores but no swell what so ever. So just been kicking it waiting for waves. Been able to catch up on some work which is good but am slowley going crazy with the lack of swell. Take care fellas. I'll look out for ya'll in the Mags.

So basically for dk, it looks like its just based around free surfing, which is great as no-one is giving cred to the dk tour thing anyway. Not sure how your going to get around them not getting back to you, maybe send out the emails/feelers earlier or something?

Yew, finally a poll result that reflects current levels of shredding in 2009! thats a rock solid top five and some hot contestion in the back 5!!! f@king well done feast and pope! and a particular hats off to mr sharp! although not a surprise to any of us reading this its damn fine to see sharpy getting the spotlight on the centre stage! someone get a camera on the man so we can see him on home turf! also good to see Leroy Kaiwi (shit spelling riptide) up there again, i think with more coverage in oz he would blow minds.

mikel1, if you read the post from the riptideslave above you will notice that the votes are for last year(or the past 12 months) performance. Now im not sure about you but ive seen nothing of Mason Rose due to an injury(i think) and he is still in the top 5? Same as Bud Miyamoto and Leroy Kaiwi, not to say they may have been ripping at home, but if exposure is a part of the criteria then its odd? No mention of Phil Harnsberger, Justin Welsh, Liam O'Keefe, Alex Jackson....and there would be plenty of others like Marcus Rodrigues who has tarvelled and got footage. I didnt see the list compiled but its just a bit out there thats all.

I just want to see people rewarded for their efforts of either winning comps or supporting them and the free surf side as well.
