Dave Hubbard Signature Morey

Looks like he's runnin' with the colour combo Ma$e revived a few years back...and that morey invented like a million years before that.

The shape is actually pretty solid. As for the knee molds I was bummed when we were going to run it. Since that board in that shot was hand shaped by Yamo, the knee grooves are actually deeper than they are when Mez runs it on the CNC. Mez runs about an 1/8th of an inch which in all in all is really not noticeable. As for the color combo to each your own. A lot of people are stoked on the colors because of the old classic days of Roach, Reale and Sasaki rippin' it.

Dude did you not read dknmd's post? Its been done like a gazillion years ago....and i dont think he's near sasaki or roach status. He should have just brought his own shit out and stamped his ideas, not try and recreate retro.

Just for the record, I'm not hatin' on the dub board at all. I thinks its rad!
Both Ma$e and Dubb love the old skool dk and wanna rep that shit with their boards. Just like the bellyboarders like Mikes old colours.
Plus I'm totally down for groovy shin grooves.

Yes I did read it. Maybe I should give you Dub's email and you can express your concerns to him about his board.

I'm not a fan of it, but Morey invented this colour scheme so it's hardly copying someone else.

He never said Hubbard was Roach or Sasake status. The knee divots are "his own shit". I dunno how functional they are, but apart from the old Manta Roaches and maybe the C-X Brandon Foster boards there hasn't been a board with shin contours for years.

I think it looks like a beautiful board. Love the colors and a nice nod to the old days.

Colours aren't necessarily for me, but who really cares about colours anyway.

Looks like it'd be an interesting board to ride. I'd love to give one a shot

has anyone gotten round to trying one of these out?
Not a lot of places are stocking them which wouldn't help I spose but I was checking them out online and was suprised at the price............until I saw it had a HD slick. I haven't had a HD slick since one of my old grommy boards back in the day lol
keen as to hear how they go if anyone can comment.
