So far VS, NMD are running them again (at a cheaper price this year) and LMNOP & BZ are as well which is expected all being 'world' boards. Pride, HB have also taken him up on the offer and have not heard from the rest of the crew in the factory.
Word on the street is that the 3D cores have really been stepped up this year with a an increase of quality and weight distribution combining for a board that is claimed to be the bees knees. I personally havn't ridden one but after getting my hands on them the initial impressions were how light they were compared to last years models which is a great thing.
Last year they were heavier than a PE board with sand in 2 stringers but this year they feel as light as a standard PP. Personally I prefer a stiff board so im not sure if a 3D will adequately satisfy in the summer months of QLD waters.
I am also interested to see the difference between the extruded PP and the new kinetic PP (or whether or not there is even one).
Also good to see world getting their shit together in '10, last year it was late October that the full range of boards became available after a period of 3 months of saying they will be here next week... next week.... next week.
Joe Clarke has refined his new VS only slightly from the NMD, keeping the same nose, wide point and taking about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of the tail which has tightened the dimension and template of the lower end of the board, have really thrashed my NMD so im pretty close to being able to justify a new one.
In some disappointing news it sounds like 4play/Manta have ended up with another batch of inferior cores that feel like kiddies board, but I havnt got my hands on one yet so im not comfirming that.... .. .... .yet.

Have you ridden it at all during summer or not? How long have you had it?

About a week now, it's an '11 so I haven't had the chance to ride it in summer just yet but it feels a lot stiffer than straight PE.
