Good on Riptide for giving some focus to some of our "Unknown soldiers" in this issue. Sweet shots of Damien Martin, Josh Morgan ( on the forum here viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1984&p=59496&hilit=josh+morgan#p59496 ) and Dan Ryan in a smoker at the right.
Always good to see fresh faces charging to mix up with the 'usual suspects'.

$ page fold-out of Devil's Horn is mennnntallll (those who put posters on their wall will have a tough decision as the flipside is Griz at one of his fave breaks - choices, choices. Love that Devils horn break, so animal

More than an interview on Buntang, very indepth and very real ,so 'him' . Bunting is in TBC, so we get to catch up a heap in the water and socially. that;s when you get to see if the words match the person very well or not. Top job by NAW.

My call is best RT issue in ages.

Graphic design is on the 'up' too, good one Heavyside.

I can try...

It might have been reading this an expecting a lot but I don't really think thats it. I think it was the articles, was interested to read the Mike stewart one, but i didn't work out that it was the MS one until I was halfway through. With the one about the horn I think it was the layout wasn't just pleasing to my eye and how i like to read, I was reading it on the kitchen table and it went from 1 end to the other (2 seats) so it made it pretty hard to read, then the pictures weren't that big so you didn't 'fell' it as much as you did in the first one. The Novy photo comments was better but I would have like to read a bit more about him and his recovery.

As for the photos themselves, the were good, but I think the last Issue had more to offer there as well, with the section on the underwater photos that was combined with reasonable writing as well

Haha, I literally got round to reading it before, and had the intention to comment on the fold out as soon as I jumped on tonight.
Apart from that, some good articles, pretty good issue. #176 owned this one though.
