Went over my previous hosts traffic limit and he can't afford to keep hooking me up with free hosting since my blog was starting to get a bit more activity than we original anticipated haha

I'm going to try and rehost the blog on a wordpress subdomain in the next few days, just have to wait until the monthly traffic limit resets on the old site so I can quickly rehost it and grab all the old photos and the layout/serverside files for my site (my main PC is currently fried so getting them off my HDD will be a pain)

I'll keep you guys posted and let you know once I'm back up with a stable host

thanks dude. it's just a wordpress theme. had to sort through mountains of average looking ones 'til I found one aesthetically pleasing enough haha.

Yeah it's the same shell theme as the last one, I edited the HTML on the last one a little bit but I've basically got it looking the same. I spent ages looking for a good theme when I originally set up josh.swirlmedia.net so I just reapplied the one I found to the new blog. I might have a play around with it and see if I can find any cooler ones but I'm just happy it's back up and running and I've got a place for my photos

I have seen some really awesome flash based templates you can buy for $20 or so, again through wordpress. Is something I want to look into once I start to build a bit more of a portfolio and stuff. Ideally I'd like to learn to code it myself but I don't have as much free time to play around on the net as I used to haha.

I haven't really tried but I reckon you could. If you look on my site up in the top right there's two pages 'HOME' and 'ABOUT'. In the wordpress dashboard you have the option to create new pages, so theoretically if you coded it properly and had the layout all sweet you could just create another page and call it 'GALLERY' or whatever and set up rows of clickable thumbnails that then open the photo at it's fullsize or something?

There is probably an even easier way, that was just the process I went through in my head when I was sussing out if you could do the same thing yesterday. There are plenty of themes in their gallery also that could help with that, some are labelled as being 'photoblog' templates and stuff like that so they may even have something incorporated?
