Really really good man. Their sound was pretty much exactly the same as their studio sound. They're pretty funny dudes too. Joking with the crowd and generally just being awesome entertainers. Probably helps that I've been a massive fan since I was 16 and never seen 'em before

man, grouper was stunning live. less folky and way dronier then I expected, but all in all a jaw droppingly beautiful slab of ambient strangeness. Fantastic gig and i was still tripping out from it on the way home, swerving all over the freeway  Incidentally, I would like to impregnate Grouper.

Definitely something to check out if you don't mind some weird folkiness and want something for late summer nights. "Dragging a dead deer up a hill" is the ideal one for pirating.

Agreed. I went to this as well. Perfect pairing of magic droney loops with mesmerising visuals. Epic.

How good was the support, Lionshark? not talking about the first band as they were shit, but the dude with an acoustic and a few pedals sounded terrific. Looking forward to hearing him again at Nadja.

NADJA were amazing both tonight and last night. One of the finest bands in the planet, and their live show is as enigmatic and wonderful as their music. Absolutely fantastic.

Na this was about 2 years ago, and yeh they were awesome live. But still I think that parkway ticket is the cheapest yet for me and to be honest I would have payed over 200 without blinking to see them haha
Another awesome band live was grinspoon I saw them at westdale rock.
