The facts on the 2011 pipeline broadcast

I've just spent a while on the phone with Kiryn Clay ( who sorts a lot of IT stuff for the IBA - thankyou for your time Kiryn) and here is the lowdown on the broadcast.
The WHOLE event will be broadcast through the IBA website (see my signature) . DK will be webcast. Redbull TV will only be broadcasting the main heats of the prone division a it approaches the finals. It will be identical to the webcast on the IBA site, but in HD.
FUEL TV are confirmed to broadcast the final day.
TIME: the call is made at 3am DST (Sydney time) . If the event is running that day , the event and hence the broadcast starts at around 4am Sydney time.
Live scoring will be on the IBA webcast at all times, it may not be on the redbull screen.

I'm locking and 'stickying' this thread, not so it can't be discussed, but so we only have one thread on the pipe comp (apart from the Dk thread in the Dk section) otherwise things get confusing.
Just quote this into the main pipe comp thread if you want to discuss this or ask questions .
I'll edit any info in here if needed.

Tomorrow will see the final day of the IBA Pipeline Pro Bodyboard event run and won. The conditions are shaping up nicely and the big news is that Fuel TV in Australia and showing the full 8 hours of the final day of the contest. So if you have Foxtel/Fuel TV the broadcast will be showing from 5am Sydney time tomorrow. Fuel TV were initially only taking the final 3 hours but based on the outlook and quality of production now taking the full 8 hours! So check it out!
