Does anybody know what Ben is up to these days? He was a true professional and legend of the sport.

Ben was always my fav rider even tho back then everything was so pro Mike Stewart ( who i liked too but i go for the underdog)
His signature board in the early 90s was great, still my fav board ever.. and probably the dearest..was if i am correct $495 in the early mid 90s! damn they arent even that dear now 20 years later

the other Hawaiian i really liked was Seamus Mercado..not sure who remembers him?

angryassdrumer.. check out Bens website. With the current exchange rate inc shipping he could probably make you a board for the same as getting one over here. Just a suggestion as you like his old boards.
Or Jay at Ebodyboarding who carries his range.

that was my first option but it said they dont ship to australia
if he BSD change and they start shipping here i will get him to design an exact replica of his awesome signature board from the early 90s

Yeah surfed soo good back in the day. Was always runner up to Stewart but. At the Masters this year he did a radical Double Handed Cuttie. It was sick....So good to see the kids learning about the pioneers.

he was more a free surfer than stewart, stewart knew how to rip for the judges hence all his wins..dont get me wrong i love mike stewart but i think ben was happy to drive somewhere quiet in his scooby van and rip just him and a few mates, maybe a photographer.
