Turns out mums already been called but didnt fall for it, so its obviously going around sa too. Phone bill must be massive ha. I think if they phone me then ill tell them im real keen but in desperate need for a dump and get them to hold the line for an indefinate amount of time while making obscene noises and dropping things into a sink full of water .

Unfortunatly all those call centers use VoIP, so it costs almost nothing. I was talking to a friend who had the idea of connecting them to a dummy box full of viruses so when they pull anything from the PC they get a little surprise. It wouldn't be easy to setup though.

Got the call recently. The bastards even had the nerve to ring back and try again after I sprayed them
Initially it was dad who answered, and he's a bit of a noob, so didn't exactly fall for it, but asked a lot of questions. I then proceeded to grab the phone and said some incredibly "riptide-forum frownworthy" things. Scumbags.
