There was supposed to be an upgrade or something done to help prevent spammers a few months back, i dont think theyve got around to it, Morris media time is a little like 'fiji time' i reckon ha ha (thats what the fijians say as an excuse for running very late with everything/ too much kava) Some of the spam post are just like normal members registrations and post so i dont think that there is way to get rid of those before they post. There was a spammer a while back that joined over a year before making their first posts of spam. so annoying.

Also if people could avoid posting under the spam it makes it a little easier to see immediately when we log on particularly if the mods only have a few mins to scoot through on any particular day, stops us from missing it as we will always check posts by unfamiliar names.

Cheers

A guy like him could win comps riding a Redback. Boards don't make that much of a difference, they are pretty much all the same. Sure the longevity might change but there is very little change with minor adjustments. People talk about "response" and "pop" but to me it all just seems gimmicky...
We are just all so fooled.

I think they are too expensive.
When you are starting out as a board company nobody is sure how good the quality of the board is going to be. Whether or not they last. Even if you don't make much money at first, if you can put out good boards at a fairly cheap price then you will get your brand out there and a good reputation. Then people will be more likely to spend more money on a "higher quality" board.

Also, on a side note, you wouldn't happen to be working for the company/be involved because you seem quite interested in finding out our views...?

it's pretty mental huh. Tbh I'm not really sure what Thurston's thinking. Crowded market, expensive boards with no proven track record- I'm not saying they're shit, but fact is that they are new and they are untested. I like the dude but yeah, not too optimistic on the future of ID...

They interest me as a brand, but I am not going to make a large investment without knowing what I'm getting.

Not really possible. If you start out low priced then its hard to justify a price increase in the future. Not only that but there is a perception of quality based on price. Its just brand positioning.
