So many horrendous bands. i'm guessing the other ones are bad as hell, it's just that I haven't heard them. Maybe three tolerable bands in the whole thing.

I'd like to start of by saying this is my opinion, and I don't mean to offend anyone...
but far out, really? That list looks terrible. So, so many of those bands are disgraceful. Dragonforce, Cro-Mags and Black Label Society - wouldn't mind seeing, but the rest. Urgh.
Caspian, you could not have said it better. I know Soundwave and those all ages festivals have a vast amount of crap bands, but that list shocked me at the sheer amount of badness. To each their own though.

Dragonforce - eww!

Haha nah that isn't so bad.
I was trying to find some kewl music on Caspian's iPod this morning, and I knew about 2 bands - Blink-182 and Rammstein - neither of which I enjoy.

He then started playing Jesu and Celtic Frost.
Weirdo.

It's worth going for the Cro-Mags alone.

Devin Townsend, Raised Fist, Black Label Society, Mastodon, Lostprophets & Machine Head will be good to finally see aswell. Apparently Manson puts on a pretty decent live show so while I only really like that Antichrist Superstar album, I'll probably still check out most of his set. There's a fair few horribly average bands on the lineup but it's 10x better than the majority of festivals.

You have 90% + of the world...

Actually I tell a lie.
Given that...
29% of Earth is land mass. Of that 29% humans occupy less than 1% of that area. Of the remaining 28% about 40% is pure wilderness. 14% is true desert and 15% has desert like characteristics. 9% is Antarctica. Most of the remaining 22% are agricultural areas.

You like 70% of the of the ocean (1% being the parts populated by people surfing), and of the remaining 29% you hate the 1% humans occupate.
