Where did you guys surf in the arvo?

And what did you mean about the beatdowns? If you meant to be saying they weren't as heavy, it was because you didn't surf any real waves over 2ft haha.

we were going to hit supers but in the time we walked down the crowd grew from 4 to 10. Swoodle went to smiths, and I just bodysurfed aframes. Checked everywhere else.. booj was rank, box was too small, etc etc. Was weird in that duns seemed to be picking up a lot more swell than further south.

got a bit more solid in the arvo, but yeah wasn't huge.

and yeah, we just went to supers again. Well, some of our crew did, the rest of us refined our party wave technique at aframes.

LOL. Stayed at supers all day Saturday. It did pick up above 2ft, maybe touched 4ft on the odd bigger one towards the arvo. Yea I did mean as heavy.

Des, I surfed Smiths reef in the morning then shot back to Perth. Swell died on Saturday night.

Pretty fun little surf around the supers area. Probably 1-2ft throughout the whole day? Anyway, started off at this little wedge infront of supers, fun little barrels and a nice bowl to hit at the end. A mate also had a gopro aswell so he took a couple of shots.
Headed over to supers, clean 1-2ft with the occasional bigger one flowing through, knee deep aswell which was a bit of a put-off.
Might put some of my mates gopro footage up later on, it's not that great but.

^ Man, how nice does that water colour look. Definitely a contrast to my sesh yesterday.

Surfed Juc for the first time in ages (because it always sucks), but it was actually the best I've had it in a long time. Me and one other mate getting these sick lefts near the clubhouse that just peeled all the way into the beach. Super fun and hardly any one out. Possibly the coldest morning all year. Seriously reckon it was pushing 0 degrees. Literally couldn't feel my hands. When we paddled out (and the ocean temp is still pretty cold, say about 13 degrees), it was like jumping into a warm bath.

Scored EP on Sunday. Twas big. Some really good ones coming through right on the bowl though. Scored some sick tubes and also hit the reef a few times.

I jumped in the water this arvo for the first time in a while. Almost no waves but was still nice to just get in the water

Went down south last night and surfed all today. Checked Luna's in the morning. Ridiculously heavy/big. No way I was going to paddle out (especially by myself). This photo doesn't do justice how big/heavy it was - solid 6ft bomb. (sorry for the crap quality photo, taken off phone).

Ended up checking a few other spots and surfed Airports. By far one of the funnest waves I've ever surfed.
It's basically breaks off a central sand-point and two waves that are split from a bombie out the back break and meet each other on the shore. Therefore catching either the right or the left and getting slung with so much speed into the middle of the wave when they break into each other.
Was doing meter high airs on 2-3ft waves. And I'm a kook. Such a fun wave. Getting stuck in the impact zone of the wedge really destroys you though..
