Surely that should get reported ASAP to fisheries aye?!

That's just a kick in the groin to locals after the attack there.

Boxing gloves at the ready haha

Spot on Ditchy. That's horrible. Hopefully they pay the price for their carelessness.

hahah - glad you can see an upside.

More seriously - you would think it would be illegal to dump fish guts & heads near a swimming beach - & if its not illegal its highly unethical

'allegedly', dudes. Hold your horses eh. Let's see what happens. Won't stop me from hitting north point if it's pumping and relatively uncrowded.

I'm not sure about commercial boats but for normal fishing boats in Vicco, all fish have to be cleaned after landing the boat so fisheries can check size and bag limits. There are also laws regarding the amount of burly that can be used while shark fishing which is something like no more than 10kg of chum and 4ltrs of tuna oil.

If WA has something similar then they def could be in trouble.

As for surfing in those conditions, I must admit I'd definately think twice about it.
RIP my Science 1 board. You will be in my thoughts daily!

It breaks 20m off the shore, not exactly the most welcoming wave haha

When it breaks that big, it's a bit more than 20m off shore.
If it breaks over like 3ft its about 50m off. Try snap a leash there and tell me it's 20m haha.

True, I guess I havent seen it over 4ft in a year, yeah, snapping a leash out these on a big day isn't exactly on my to-do list. It's happened at solid booj but

Saw the craziest waves I've ever seen in my life, got dragged across a dry shelf covered in barnacles first wave of the trip, got barreled, did some tricks and got chased out of the water by a shark.
Funniest trip.
