Im not confindent about the sizing, im 187cm and ride a 41 fine, 42.25 is just massive.
As for longevity, i have a Nomad chris james 41 PP which ive had for about 2 years and is still going fine, i love it.
I cant help you out with any of the other choices though sorry.
Just a word of advice, please for the love of english write using proper words, you're well capable of writing the words but you've put some really crap words in hahaa.

like half of that itself; "cud", "u", "tho", "cuz", "b4", "LOL"
but its weird, you write half with full words then randomly throw in some 12 year old shortenings of words haha

I've actually noticed that a lot of Hawaiian boogers type with that kind of grammar, (used to post on the bodyboarder.com forums a lot).
It is annoying to read because I'm a bit of a neat-freak and I imagine it being typed by a 5-year old and find it hard to take serious haha, but each to their own. It is a bodyboarding forum after all. Bruddaeee - in the words of NWA - "express yo'self", haha. Anyway... moving on.

As for your board. I'm pretty sure Custom X make their boards fairly thick. So I would recommend the Hardy out of your choices. There's a reason VS/NMD are so popular. Simply put, they are amazing and do the job. Also, I highly recommend checking out the Winchester (NMD). Comes in 42" but that 0.25" really won't make much difference for you, especially from your BMI (body-mass-index). Honest to god, out of every board I have ever owned or tried, this was the best by far. Performed so well in all type of wave conditions. Small, big, hollow, fat. Was super fast to punch through kegs or to smack some big ramps. I honestly am considering getting another Winny soon.

Hope this helps man. What sort of waves are you going to be riding?

Size sounds fine to me. I don't get the small board obsession. Are people really unable to properly control a board that's an inch and a half longer? Poor tradesman etc

Savage speaks the truth in his recommendation

P.s. Pidgin English is common in Hawaii...

The maturity displayed in this thread make me proud to call myself booger. honestly lads can't we leave that to the standups? Please for me

If dude wants help picking a board and you've narrowed it down some, just pick the board that is from the company your favourite surfer rides for, If he said the wide point should be further back or something(wide point is just an example pedant, he could have said crescent tail for all I know) and they listened it'll be more likely to do what you want. Ride the board from the guy you wanna ride like, emulate their style till you get your own. Like the hard man said.

Yea sorry guys.. for some reason I just dint feel quite welcome here, so I edited all my posts with sum retarded ish real quick lol...

@Nickthedevil- The boards of most riders I like dont come in my size.. if I do find one, theres usually something else about it that doesnt suit me. I dont ask for too much in a board, as long as its 42.25 PP, Crescent, 1 Stringer, No Whale Shark nose, Not thick, and No deck contours. Theres always only around 3-5 boards on the market like that. Right now Im pretty settled on the Pride Dan Sivess, but honestly have no idea when Ill be back in the water

Could you go with 42 or 42.5? You would be able to find allot more boards if you could.

Nah with my health condition, location, etc.. I couldnt handle 42.5 as Im weak sauce now.. or 42 because I know I'd get frustrated adjusting. In the future if I can get closer to 100% health, or even 90's.. Id love to go through that fat list of 42's again haha!
