I think PLC will win it Adam. I reckon he will shred his heat and take the title. Hope he gets knocked though (don't hope but you know what I mean) and Jeff wins. It's gonna be such a hectic heat.

I honestly think Lester can win the comp. He shreds so hard in huge, deep barrels (Shark Island etc).

Just in from IBA:

The contest organisers are busy discuss whether to hold the event today or tomorrow. There are some big sets coming in and the reef is still exposed because of the low-tide. Next call at 10h30 local time for a 12h00 start.

Contest organisers are going to make a final call at 11h30.

Yeah why don't they just run it. The winds don't look TOO bad and its the peak of the swell. Plus, if they are suss about the tides do they not realise that tomorrow they will have to wait even longer for the tide to fill than today.

That was highlight reel epic. I was very very nervous watching to see if he would pop up. Very dangerous conditions and I seriously hope nobody gets hurt today.
