Adelaide is a dark city in many ways. Particularly in the night times, which is when we spent the majority of our time exploring the city. After a few missed flights (Bunts, Thomas, José, Ed Leeson and photog Mitchell) we eventually nailed our first premiere at the Mercury Cinema, with a solid turnout of SA cats at a damn fine venue (cheers Brad Halstead!) Local band The Touch (made up partly of some boog pals) then entertained us into the wee hours of the morn. Karaoke and wild times ensued for Saturday and Sunday eve (Pierre’s Eminem rap was doubtless a highlight) before we grabbed our Renault Koleoses and hit the road bound for Victoria. Bring on the open road…
