Welcome aboard big fella how does it feel to be back with a bodyboard brand supporting the industry?
A lot better! Having a sponsor that actually wants to support you and cares about the sport makes a huge difference.
The Bong seemed to be having some major problems within there company do you know much about that?
No i don’t know to be honest, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Why the big move from the Bong to GF and do you think Billabong are having a positive impact on bodyboarding?
GF has been around for a long time and to me seem to be the most established clothing brand in bodyboarding, making the coolest stuff. Billabong have done nothing for the sport of bodyboarding they don’t sponsor comps, they don’t sponsor riders. The people who work in there when I would get clothes thought I was a surfer or skater.
What projects do you have coming up for release to the world this year?
I have some in the pipeline, hopefully a movie with Ash Rigby, we have some insane footage already so it's definitely on its way. Also a few other big video projects I’m hoping will come together.
If you could speak to one type of animal, what would it be?
Probably a great white shark, tell them to chill on the human race a bit and then I'd also love to talk to a bear, have him as a pet or something.
Name three people you would most like to meet?
Bam Margera, Eminem and Jay Z.
What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
Probably bottles of water, I live in a caravan so not much right now that I’m overseas.
What are your favourite 3 items from the current summer 12/13 GF range?
The ‘Rock the Boat’ Button Up shirt, ‘Rock the Boat’ Camp hat and the Nautic board shorts, they are all the ticket!
