RT: Can you tell us about yourself, where you grew up and how you got into bodyboarding?
I'm 21 from Wollongong, I first got into bodyboarding when I was about 12. My mum bought me an old HB board from the second hand shop and I used to go stay at my pops and surf on the weekend after footy. Eventually footy got sidelined, I faked injuries just so I could go surfing instead of playing around in short shorts. I stopped for a while and got back into it around the age of 16-17 and just surfed as much as I could and tried to get my name out there.

RT: Do you think you'd like to get onto the world tour or free surf? Which one appeals more to you?
I don't mind comps but I get stressed too much and I'm a bit of a sore loser. Being on the World Tour is a future goal but for now I just want to chase waves, improve my surfing and get good quality footage and photos to make some good podcasts to show people how I really surf.
RT: Have you got any trips planned for the end of this year?
Nah not for this year I'm saving some coin for a van to travel in. Next year Samoa is on the cards hopefully, and a few other trips around Oz. I really want to go to South Australia though.

RT: Is there anything in particular you'd like to achieve in bodyboarding?
Some good video sections, some shots in the mags and some team trips overseas would be good.
RT: What would you say to try and sell yourself to a possible sponsor? Is hustling your thing, or would you like that to happen organically?
Yeah shout out to Four Play bodyboards, SWS bodyboard shop, Iamnone clothing and Zion wetsuits. They have been been supporting me for a while so a big thanks goes to those guys.

Ben Player, no idea why I'd just like to have a heat against him.
RT: Who do you look up to in regards of successful people not just in bodyboarding?
In bodyboarding it would have to be Ben Player and Mike Stewart, they have done heaps for the sport. Outside of bodyboarding would be the guy who created Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg), he's a full blown nerd but he's running it and making lots of coin. Respect to him.
