From the King:
Well, I might've mentioned previously, but I've been working on a podcast over the last couple of months, this will be the first edition of the Joker podcast series. It’s an exciting new project that is only a couple of weeks away from being released.
It’s a big move, bringing the Joker theme into podcast, but one that I think has to happen to stay ahead of the game in this evolving digital world. The major advantage of doing a mini podcast is you can keep them fresh and the clips are available to anyone in the world, whenever they want it! I guess the disadvantages are it’s seen on a computer and I am, and always will be, a fan of sitting down in front of the big screen and absorbing the feature with no distractions.
We have been filming on and off for the past couple of months, mainly shooting at home as the waves have been really good. I have Ryan “ the mad dog” Mattick up here right now behind the lens with a few other riders who will also feature in the podcast, like Joe Clarke and new kid on the block, Jordan Putland. The waves are looking all-time tomorrow with a 8-ft north swell and west wind predicted.
The Joker theme wouldn’t be the same without a little comedy, so we will try not to disappoint you in this department also. HA!
Coming soon…
