Meet Johnny Rampage

Plastic People's new logo Johnny Rampage

Less than a week ago I released a new logo (or character) I created called Johnny Rampage.

I was inspired to create Johnny Rampage by "Da Boys" which were the old characters created for T&C Surf Designs in the 80's by the artist Steve Nazar. There was Thrilla Gorilla, Joe Cool, Tiki Man, and the Tuxedo Cat. I wore the shit out of these t-shirts when I was a kid.

Anyway, Johnny Rampage, the wild laughing skull wearing a flip-hat, is more of the party monster who loves to chase waves and girls. (something we can all relate to).

I think the younger generation and older cats like myself will dig the future escapades of Rampage.

Anyway, thought I'd let you know what was going on here at Plastic People New York. Johnny Rampage and the next range will be out in Australia in early April.

Keep up to date with the blog here:

Thanks!

Looks like a Famous Stars and Straps design I just saw today, weird.

It's still pretty cool.
