Riptide is a national bi-monthly mag aimed at bodyboarders the world over. Our focus is bringing together first-class photography, timeless editorial and the world’s best bodyboarding in a slick package that you’re amped to be a part of.

Our senior writers have their own individual voices, and we encourage them to speak their minds. We’re always looking for quirky insights and personal ramblings from the greater world of bodyboarding, even if they don’t speak directly about the sport itself. We’ve all got many different interests after all.

Photographers are expected to be professional and technically tight with a unique eye, so although we welcome all kinds of contributions, we only use the crème de la crème in the pages of the mag. Back issues are the perfect place for you to start to get an idea of RT style and the ground we cover.

Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming amount of daily submissions received, we will not be able to reply or provide feedback unless submissions are of interest. Apologies for this in advance.

Reader slideshows

Submissions for both the Reader Random Gallery and the Reader Slideshows need to be 900pixels wide by 600pixels high. Submissions that don't not fit this criteria will not be posted on the site. Submissions for the Wave Of The Day must be 695x291px in size (sorry, weird sizing we know) and can be an empty wave or action shot. Submissions that don't not fit this criteria will not be posted on the site. Feel free to provide as much information about the shot as you like.
